In this sermon, we’ll explore what happens when we meet each other with certainty instead of curiosity, and how those moments can either close people off or open the door to a deeper sense of belonging. In a time when difference so often turns into division, we’re invited to consider what it means to stay in relationship across it and how we help shape the stories people carry with them.

Bridging Service — Jes Zimmer, Director of Religious Education, led the service, with the Rev. Brian Mason offering prayers and readings. Music was provided by Music Director Margaret Jerz, along with special musicians Ellie Mason, River McCarthy, and Christine Daniels. Rowen Saltzman served as Story Leader as the congregation celebrated graduates Margaret and Lucy.

We celebrate our graduating seniors and all those crossing important thresholds this season. Our young people offer reflections on their journeys, and we send them forward with our blessing.
